I took these pictures in the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. These stairs were on the side of some back hallway in the theater and I decided it could make a cool photo spot to use leading lines and symmetry.
This project was me experimenting with nighttime street photos. Three people had flashlights, which we put colored tape across to emit a different color light. The two models in front of the lights were my siblings, and I had them hold still while I took the long exposure photo.
The Gold Metal Flour sign photo was one of the pictures I took recently in Minneapolis. I wanted to make it more interesting so I started experimenting with the Liquify tool and brightening the colors in the original photo. Finally, I used the Oil Paint filter to make it have more of a painter effect.
The panorama of the sunset was a photo I took in Florida on my phone a few years ago. I again used the Liquify tool in Photoshop to see what I could do with the picture. This was entirely unplanned but I liked the end result with the coloring and contrast of the silhouettes. |
